Southeastern QLD has endured chilly mornings over the past few days, with some places seeing their coolest run of May mornings in 30 years. Yesterday morning Coolangatta cooled to 4.6 degrees, 9.5 below the May average. This was its coldest May morning in nine years and its coldest morning since September last year.
